Depending where you live, you may have 'rag and bone men' who would bite your hand off for it. Put it at the end of your drive with a sign on it saying free. It will be gone before tea time.

Thanks for the tips on this, Argos started ignoring my emails so started making a few phone calls. Once I mentioned my partner had received a text stating a collection would be made of the drier, they instantly arranged for someone to come and collect it Yesterday.

Bless the local Rag and Bones though, they came through the night on Sunday and helped themselves from our rear yard so argos came for nothing.
