The listing stated - 2 tickets for slavas snowshow,on a buy it now for £20. In the description it said - number of tickets 2, so I presumed I was buying 2 tickets.
I did buy it now and it took me to the invoice page where he hadn't listed the postage price, so I asked him for a total price to include postage. The reply was how many tickets do you want?
I have emailed him twice, saying I don't want the tickets now if I have to pay £40, and I am willing to pay his listing fees (even though it is his mistake). The only reply I have had is " how many tickets do you want?" - even after I have said I don't want them !!!
Has anyone any ideas what I can do - I still have bought the tickets and they are waiting payment.

maybe he wants to know if you want even more tickets than the 2 you've bought?0

No, because his first email to me says - "i was selling two tickets for £20 each minimum price,do you want one or two"0

Refuse to pay, this might get nasty but make sure you formally respond to any dispute he starts. Make a complaint to ebay that he had a misleading auction, look for other breaches and see what else you can report him for.
I am surprised how many people do not set up auctions correctly when they have more than 1 item to sell, I once had problems where someone was selling a set of three items, so put '3' in the quantity and got three buyers...he really was TSFE as he just couldn't see how he got three winners when he only had 1 set of 3 items to sell.
Also it is in his favour to get this sorted ASAP as tickets are time limited so if this drags on he could lose everything.

Have you got a,link to the item or the item number, let us have a look, he might be trying it on,
if the auction says 2 tickets then you should get 2 tickets, otherwise it would be a misdescription (does that sound right, is it even a word?) of goods.
You can't put up a description selling 2 tickets then try to make out it is only 1 after the auction end, thats bad and naughtyProud to be me, proud to be who I am!!0 -
I think I found your auction...it definitely shows as 2 tickets for a BIN price of £20 so keep arguing and report to ebay.

EDIT: I think you may have a TSFE seller, especially as this is his first ever sale.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Having read the auction listing, I agree I would have expected 2 tickets for £20, but I would have contacted the seller first about the postage costs and delivery date. Looks like you will end up in a dispute about this.0

Oh, he hasn't quoted any post and packing either..so be careful you might find yourself paying the difference between 1 ticket and 2 as post and packing instead. It asks that you contact seller for post details, did you do that? Only tickets must be sent special delivery to be covered in the post.
There are also tickets still available from the box office..so he may be inclined to give way a bit on this if he knows he isn't selling tickets that are particularly sought after.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have had a look,
The auction does say 2 (two) tickets at all points of the auction, the seller must provide 2 tickets, or have a problem on his hands.
Is a relatively 'new' ebayer only 3 feedback but is 100%, send him an email saying that you are expecting 2 tickets as that is what he is clearly selling, to change the listing after auction end is against ebay rules.Proud to be me, proud to be who I am!!0 -
Definitely hold out on this one - he has other tickets listed for other shows & there are slightly dubious bits in his wording about those so he knows very well what he's doing. Looks like ticket-touts have hit EBay again.
My mistake, clicked on 'similar items rather than other items'.0
