It's my boyfriend's cousin's baby's christening on Sunday and as usual he's forgotten about getting a gift. I've only bought gifts for girls before so this is new territory for me! I've found this , this or this online but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated!

We were given something similar to the breakfast set and loved it, I'd go for that out of your choices.
As it's a christening could you give a book of bible stories or prayers?0 -
I was just going to suggest the Bible stories too. You can get some nice colourful Children's versions. It is a Christening after all.
I'm not sure about the snow globe thing. It's a bit 'cutesy' for a boy. (just my HO though)If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
A musical carousel in blue for a boy is a nice present to receive." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

My son received a Tiffany teething ring (one day after using his first tooth arrived!)
Money boxes, Whittard mug, plate and cutlery set, personalised cutlery, a bound book of Pooh Bear. Would have loved a childrens bible stories book.0 -
I was thinking about getting a book of bible stories, but can't seem to find any locally! I bought this for a boy's christening a few weeks ago and iit was very well received:

Unless they are regular church goers, would a book of bible stories ever get used though? When our friend's children got christened a few weeks ago I bought them a compilation book of adventure/fairy stories each, and wrote in the front the occasion and who it was from. They can have it read to them now and read it themselves when they get older. Their parents thought it was a lovely gift. There's loads on Amazon.
If not, I think the photo album is the nicest gift out of the ones you'd seen and likely to get looked over the years.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

The cheap book shops often do them, also Waterstones is a good one.0 -

A Christening is a religious ceremony, so something with a religious side to it is appropriate. If they really didn't want anything religious they could have gone with a naming ceremony, or just had a celebration party instead.
I think that most people would appreciate a book of Bible stories even if they weren't terribly religious theselves. If they were completely anti, then there wouldn't be a Christening. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0
