Vodafone Help
Hello,
At the end of last week I decided to switch my iPad data contract from Orange to Vodafone. Everything went through fine on the vodafone website, and this morning I received a delivery from them.
However, rather than the micro-sim I was expecting, they have sent me an iPhone 4. It's clearly a mistake, as it's not mentioned on the Despatch Note and I've not been charged for it.
Although tempted to try and keep it for a minute, I eventually did the right thing and rung them - spent my whole lunch hour on hold as they didn't know what had happened, then they just cut me off. I've retried 4 times now - spending a total of 2 and a half hours on the phone - and still have not got anywhere. They either put me on hold forever and then cut me off or treat me like some kind of idiot.
I've tried emailing but not had a response. What should I do?

Maybe take it to a Voda store and let them sort it out.
Either that or write to Voda and tell them to pick it up, if they don't (and I can't remember how long you have to give them) it's yours. But I'll bet at some point it'll get blacklisted and stops working. . .0 -
Thanks, I've written a letter and I'll post it recorded delivery tomorrow. Fingers crossed they just ignore it I guess.0

Its not an unsolicited goods, its a shipping mistake.
However now that you have written, emailed and rung them. If they still fail to collect it then that is there own fault, although you still need to complain about the lack of sim card.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
DC is quite correct, my error in missing reading the post (sorry).0
