Usually b, same with yellow boxes but sometimes you get caught out and end up on the crossing or in the box.Nothing to see here, move along.0

We used to have a jaywalking law, and I'm not sure if it is still on the books but just never enforced. Red lines were painted around curbs in a few places and pedestrians couldn't cross them at certain times without incurring a fine.0 -
What a waste of a thread.
Anyone who knows how to drive correctly knows you DO NOT stop on a crossing of any type.0 -
Id also choose B, based n the fact that your meant to leave the crossing clear and i also treat it like 1 of them boxes with yellow criss cross lines so if your exit isnt clear dont go0

No it's not - ericonabike is being educated here!!Anyone who knows how to drive correctly knows you DO NOT stop on a crossing of any type.
Ericonabike quite obviously needs said education.

So that's unanimous then!
It's incredulous that you think you're doing pedestrians a favour by blocking their crossing. Did you do that earlier on today and then find an irate pedestrian at the side of your car? No surprise there!
Time to climb down off your horse soldier. We all know to stop before the crossing, and we know we're not endangering life by doing so, thanks for asking.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

B. And I never stop where it has "Keep Clear" painted on the road either. Which I see a lot of motorists block these days too.0

The U.K has never had a general jaywalking law- it is too difficult really. What you are thinking of was a short lived trial in a few streets of London called controlled traffic areas in 1960. You had to use crossings during daytime. It was wildly unpopular with the media and lasted a year.0 -
Eric, stop further away from the crossing, that way you should not put pedestrians at risk by obscuring other motorists viewI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Plenty of people do this, I used to see it all the time. I've no idea how I got away with walking over their bonnets to cross the road without getting battered - I guess they were just stunned somebody would do that.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have an urge to go try this.... Soooooooo badly you would not believe!
Might need a step ladder if it's a bus though“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
