    Had good result tonight.
Bought x10 of the Radox daily elements deodorant (£1.99 each buy 2 for £2.00)
    Total was £19.90
    Discount £9.90
    Total to pay £10.00
    used 1x £2.50
    3x £1.00
    1x £1.00 (quick read)
    2x 50 points
    Total paid £3.50!!!!
    saved myself £16.40
Oddly reciept shows 2 for £3 but takes off the correct 2 for £2 offer.

EDIT - if I had added a value toothbrush I probably could have used a second £2.50 and only paid £1 - how stupid am I????
Have enough vouchers to do it again (properly this time ) over weekend in readiness for car boot next week.

yeah i will be glad not to keep buying the same old things...did a boot sale with alot of the toiletries at the weekend. had only been using the h&bs for points so the good were a bonus..anyhow i made £90 on top of about 2500points!

Do the toiletries sell well at Car Boots????
I have far too many to cope with at home and was thinking of taking mine to my next sale. What were you charging for them???

well depends what u were expecting for them.....i basically sold my items for the following....Tresemme = £1.50, v05 = 75p, fructus and lynx = 50p

i had paid out around £15 for my entire stock that i sold....gained 2700 points and then made £90 on sunday and £55 on wednesday...not a bad return when i was only after the clubcard points!! lol

you probably would get more for the stuff but i just wanted rid....
  • I was surprised too when there were the bodyform packs with £1 vouchers on, I bought enough packs to last well past menopause LOL so car booted them and they sold surprisingly well as did my Boots Time delay freebies.

This time though, I have concentrated on items that we will use.

Mr Welshy is getting braver - he bought some toiletries today AND used vouchers ! although the cashier would only accept one of each voucher.

I had a good shop last night, I bought:
    2 X mouthwash BOGOF
    2 x toothpaste BOGOF
    2 X natrel deodorant BOGOF
    2 X handwash BOGOF
    2 X Impulse BOGOF
It came to just over £20, I used 2 X £2.50 and 5 X £1.00 vouchers, also 9 X 50 points vouchers. I bought a few bits of normal shopping and it went through smoothly. I chose a young boy at the checkout. Thanks for all the advice.
  • if anyone has any surplus H&B vouchers i would willingly send someone a SAE :)

  • I went to two tescos today to get my Health and beauty products. I bought the same as charleneuk, deodrant, plax and radox. I used 6 sets of vouchers, gained points and got lots of bargains.

Do you know my teeth are going to be whiter than white for the next 3 years, what with the floss, whitening toothpaste and mouthwash !!!

Just been to tesco and got
    2 x cura heat pack £3-89
    2 x Johnsons body cream £2-97
    2 x handwash £1-66
    2 x dove hand cream £1-99

    Used 1 x £1 health care and 1 x £1 H&B vouchers & 1 x 50 points - all till would allow so used a few other vouchers I had in purse.

Went to CS and got £2-50 & £1 voucher refund and 50 points added.

Only got home and noticed the body cream has gone through at £5-99 and not bogof so will have to get £9-01 refund.

Anybody else noticed the body cream goes through till at wrong price and not bogof - good for R&R if anyone interested.

Also cura heat packs have a £4-99 saving (bogof) and they only cost £3-89 so more savings there.
  • Does anyone have any vouchers I could have please. Especially the points ones. I can send a SAE.

    Thank you
