I bought just over £10 worth of toiletries, the till wouldn't accept my £2.50 voucher but took 2x£1 vouchers. I think it was due to buying a box of cottonbuds to take it just over the £10 mark, they may not be classed as toiletries, even though they worked on the last promotion????
Anyway I went to CS and got my £2.50 refunded.0 -

I purchased:
2 x Natrel deodrant BOGOF
2 x radox deodrant 2 for £2
2 x Colgate mouthwash BOGOF
Total before bogofs: £13.29
Total after bogofs: £6.64
Total after voucher: £4.14 Not bad, I reckon!
Used 1 x £2.50 voucher and 2 x 50 points vouchers. Lady took them no probs, didn't call anyone over, so you know, in the back of my mind I was thinking (argh, couldn't use at least 1, 1x£1 off LOL) Still got bargains though.
I have two more £1 off, so will use them to get 2 sets of 2 Aquafresh mouthwashes.
Many bogofs for kiddies packed lunches.
For those who know about the photo processing 100 points, well, today I tried the 15p print thing and it wouldn't go through, so lo and behold the same manager who wouldn't allow me to use all the vouchers last time, came and manually added the 100 points. (the receipt said, qualifying spend £100) so I hope I don't get one of those letters about manually adjusted transactions! Oh well, one down, 2 to go!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Blummin tesco, i bought 2 lots of tinted body lotion last week at 4.99 on bogof and a cheap tube of toothpaste to take it over the £10 mark and none of my coupons would scan, so lovely sa said if i went to customer service they would refund the value of the coupon, i didnt have time so the next day i decieded to return the body lotions and maybe try my look with the vouchers another day. Just noticed on my bank statement today the cs lady has charged me again for the body lotion instead of refunding me and i cant find the receipt any where, so i have paid 9.98 and have nothing to show for it.0

i have been buying lots of toileteries to use the H&b vouchers up with but also a few grocery items through to disguise handing in these vouchers and also add a few money off newspaper coupons. does anyone else do this or just put the toileteries through separately?? i just think if i did the toileteries separately the jobsworths might say no! (I tend to keep away from the jobswoth but sometimes you get a SA who does not look like a jobsworth)Just about to give up!0

I did 2 lots today, first to go through was my bits and pieces plus 2 lynx shower gels & bar of 24p soap. I used a £1 H&B voucher, 2 x H&B 50 points plus some other money off coupons.
I put "hubby's shopping" through straight after mine which consisted of 2 lynx shower gels and a 24p bar of soap, used a £1 H&B voucher, 2 x H&B 50 points. a £1 book coupon and paid 12p plus I used a temporary clubcard which I've just registered to DH (so we can make the most of the deals).
The SA was very friendly and chatty and said if the tills accept them, then why not make the most of it :TThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
£2 savers club 2014 No.32 - £104 (was £504)

I usually end up throwing away the £1 off Healthcare vouchers out of the H&B leaflets but today I bought 2 Curaheat Back Pain patches (3 pack) at £3.89 each (BOGOF). However, the till took off £4.99 and I used a Healthcare £1 off voucher (I tried using 2 but the ca would only take one) so I only paid £1.79 for 2 packs! :j0
