Well Tuesday I finally broke. The boys had been a nightmare and we were kept waiting 2 hours for the dentist. With niching for them to do apart from argue, try and wrestle each other and generally make me sick of the sound of my own voice. Lo also kept running out of the door so I was constantly up and down. Then got home and middle one dropped his dinner on the floor. Well that was the straw that broke the camels back. I cleaned to the downstairs, got the kids in bed, then bloke down crying in the kitchen. That was where oh found me. He sent me off for a nice long bath then ordered a takeaway so I didn't have to cook for us. So that was nice. I think it had just built up and my patience had worn so thin. .
Hope you are feeling better, we all have days like that now and again, OH sounds nice for looking after you and trying to cheer you up.So thats £408.50 total for the £10 a day challenge this month!! £270 of that is pure ebay. Which is alot to say i wont even miss anything that we've ebayed!

Sometimes you just need to let off steam. It was probably good that OH found you like he did. I don't know how you do it with 3, my DD had a friend over yesterday and all I did was shout, none of her schoolfriends will want to come over as I am such a shouty mummy! (Actually that's not a bad idea....)
I think you've done brilliantly with saving all the money you have. It is such a lovely feeling

Oh btw I don't have a tumble dryer either and I've got 2 quite large clothes airers. If you position them near radiators the clothes dry really quickly (providing the CH is on
). Or in front of the oven when it's on usually works.
Hate this drizzly weather when you can't gey anything on the line

Well have spent hours cleaning today, baked cakes, been shopping, cooked etc. Sat down at 9pm with my back in agony (baby damage) and OH moans because I ask him to make me a cuppa. I try to be bloody superwoman but it doesn't get me anywhere. I wonder what I'd have to do to actually get him to appreciate me and say 'ph sit down darling, have a rest, I'll make you a nice drink, there you go.' god only knows.
On a much happier note we paid off the biggest overdraft today
just the little one to go now

Morning all!
Well plan for the day is to take boys to part and blackberrying, menu l,an and hope that I can just do a top up shop Instead of a big one and sort out our bedroom.
Well the money saving email has come in useful for me this month. Have opened a first direct account for the hundred pounds (incentive to pay off the other account so it can be closed) and the cash back credit card to earn £90 in vouchers for Xmas. The plan is to do all my grocery/card spending on it but keep track of it and put aside the same amount in cash so that's it's there for when it needs to be paid off.
Still need to get the boys school shoes and uniform. Maybe do it this weekend.
We were meant to be camping this weekend but I don't think the weather has given out very nice so the boys are disappointed
and me too lol. MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Happy Friday all!
Took the boys to the park and blackberrying today. Have got enough to do a crumble with the boys this weekend. Campings off
so that's our plans for the long weekend gone. Cheap plans as well. So now we need to fill the bank holiday weekend with cheap/free things to do. Toy story is on at the cheap cinema so that's one day. And am planning to do a crumble and some scones. Thes also a new fish and chip restaurant opened nearby so Maybe the funds will stretch to that. Have got lots of meat left from last weeks big shop so am should be able to do a small shop for this week. Just veg and basics from lidl. Going to do that tomorrow so will see what it runs to.
Got lots of money books out from the library. One particularly laugable one is the thrift book by India knight. A middle class lady who lives in a wealthy London suburb who recommends buying investment pieces such as cashmere jumpers that will last instead of cheap high street clothes. Haha. It is quite ironic really given that she must have got paid a fortune for telling me to make my own jam lol. They didn't have any Martin Lewis books unfortunately
Takeaway and a few beers tonight. Lovely. Really need some chill time. How is everyone else? Pls tell me something about your own lives? I feel bad waffling on about me. Have u all got kids? I read the boys a story before bed which I haven't done since I had the lo. It was really nice. I think they would benefit from some one on one time without baby in tow as kbv he tends to take up a lot of my attention as he's at that into everything age. Think I might make this weekend all about them

No need to apologise, it is your diary after all
I waffle on like crazy in mine!
Anyway to answer your question, I'm 28, married for 4 years, no kids for me yet. Hopefully not too much longer to wait, but we're trying to clear our credit cards first (and waiting for company maternity pay to kick in:rotfl:)
I had a good week, went back to running after a foot injury, but currently undoing all that good work with a Chinese and a cocktail or 2
well worth it though:D
If your boys are old enough, how about a picnic and scavenger hunt (indoors if weather is bad). We used to have a picnic on the sitting room floor, and my mum made a list of 10 items she'd hidden around the house (just tuck behind curtains etc, make clear they're NOT to turn out every drawer in the house!!) Or maybe a family board games afternoon while youngest is napping?Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 2016
