Why does you being black or them being asian have anything to do with the fact you are an awquard pain in the !!!!?
Your post is absolutely outrageous and I have duly reported it. Language like that, starred out or not is not welcome here.
@OP - Whilst you feel there may be racial undertones to the issues you face I think you would find it very hard to get everyone to see it from that angle. If you are alleged to have sent defamatory emails, one would assume there is evidence?
Clearly you are on the back foot and looking for any angle of defence and only you can really feel whether you have been racially intimidated or not. If you feel you have then you should be stating so but asking here whether you have or not rather implies to me that you don't really feel you have but need to back up your bullying claims. I would strongly recommend that you keep an accurate record of events because if they are closing ranks then your cards might already be marked.

I was in Starbucks recently and a young fat lad was on his mobile talking incredibly loudly to someone. It went on for five minutes, which is fine, although it was annoying to have to be able to listen to someone else's conversation. He made no attempt to moderate the tone and tenor of his voice to more reasonable levels.
Five minutes, turned into ten, and a few people started glancing at him in an annoyed way.
Ten turned to twenty, and he was getting daggers.
At twenty five minutes, a nice old gentleman of around 75 went up to him and asked him politely to talk a little quieter as he was disturbing everyone's peaceful morning.
You know what's coming next. The young guy's first reaction was . . 'Oh my god, that's so rude. You're just a racist. I'm going to the police.' Because, of course, he was black.
'No sir,' replied the old chap. 'It's not because you're black. It's because you're an annoying little !!!!.'
It made me laugh.0 -

Granted that was a little shortsighted of me. I duly report myself.

How can you be a manager and manage if you can't even spell the words?Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -

I thought that! And I'm also pretty sure that 'cumbrous' doesn't mean what the OP thinks it does...
Good word though. "Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
It does seem that there is racism going on OP. I believe that YOU are being racist against the white people in your office. You are acting as though you should be treated differently because you're black. Well guess what, you SHOULDNT. You're black, i'm white, big f!!!ing deal. If somebody wants you to clean a desk it is because the desk needs cleaning not because you're black you chuffing imbecile. Do you honestly think that somebody thought 'hehe OP is black, I'll get them to clean my desk, that'll teach them for being black'. If you honestly think that is the case then hand your notice in to your employer and set up in business yourself as you're clearly incapable of working with others or taking instructions without crying that it's because you're black.
I can't believe that you've actually complained that your employer employs TOO MANY black people. You are getting offended because 95% of the cleaners are black. Would you rather they sacked all the black cleaners or something?
People like you (no not black people before you start having a breakdown) make me sick. YOU create friction between races by looking for problems where they do not exist and by making a big deal out of your skin colour or ethnicity (I know thats a big word but look it up, it'll do you good. If it's easier for you to spell or understand then try googling efnisity i'm sure google will help you out) and you are paranoid that the whole world hates you because of it. Chances are it hasnt even been noticed by others, only you.
From the whole tone of your post I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that you WILL have told somebody that you would prefer a black manager as you have been ranting and raving about the fact that there aren't enough black people at work (and then complaining there are too many), I also have no doubt that you have mentioned your manager is too young because again you've made a big deal about her age and experience in your post.
I think it's about time that you grew up, lost the massive chip that you have on your shoulder about your race and accepted that your skin colour is NOT a license to do as you please and get out of hard work. You are no different to me or anyone else and your skin colour doesnt stop you from working hard so do it.0 -
ps, you say you're mixed race and all the others are asian. Have you asked every person at work about their ethnicity and checked that they are 100% of asian decent or are you assuming that because of how they look?0

Quite. My thoughts exactly ... especially from a user account registered over 4 years ago but only recently having made the 5 posts to date.
Well spotted! 'Eagle-eyed' Premier! Kudos!

Alternatively ask your employer to supply you with a gas mask - i'm sure they would be only most more than willing to accomodate you on this basis. ;pYoung At Heart and Ever The Optimist: "You can't sell ice to Eskimo."

Oh dear, IMO the OP has posted this nonsense to get a reaction. And, judging by the cliche-ridden responses, it looks like it has worked.

It's a wind up.0
