Regarding the wedding-I would avoid drinking if you can and stick to plan as best you can-if you DO deviate, just be sensible and stay away from massive amounts of cards. Most likely you will be served some form of meat and veg-eat those and dont eat the bread/potatoes etc. I have gone to a few weddings whist on SS and just went to my car and had the shakes and then ate the chicken /veg etc.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

If you know the venue Claire you can ring ahead and find out what the menu is, then do what Bunny is suggesting and try to adapt as best as possible.
Right I need to go and drink and eat and wax and tidy up....and watch Who do you think you are?
1 more day and then I'm off to Earls Court to drink / serve some beer and :kisses2: a rather nice man....so maybe tired and quite excited.

why do they say that? you do what you want to do claire. It's not difficult to do when you are away from home-you just have the shakes, and if you are 'eating' have eggs for breakfast, or a porridge. Have a chicken salad for lunch, shake then maybe fish/veg for tea.
