All I achieved in 30 mins was

    Change bathroom towels etc
Put load of washing in machine
Put away clean laundry from before
Clear doordrobe (my equivalent of the floordrobe)
Pack a few things in DH's bag for his move to Nursing Home
Mark a couple of things with his name

Didn't touch the kitchen, but will aim for another HHC 11 - 1130 pm
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

    Evening all,

Congratulations Pigpen & OH on the arrival of Squeak. I thought she was going to be a boy for some reason.

Happy Anniversary to you and your DH Pollybear.

    Happy Birthday Serena's DS.

I haven't managed much more than dailies today. I went out for lunch with my one sister( Lisa ) then went to nev's. We ended up taking everything out of and reorganising her freezer as she had 4 loaves of bread that wouldn't fit. I went home with two very full carrier bags of magazines and quite a few books. So i had to sit down and have a read when i got home didn't i.

Well, time to go to bed. I'm hoping Piggers and her new daughter are well and coping - as well as the rest of her family.

I did have a laugh this evening (and Triker will probably relate to this!). My chicky girls are indoors in the day and allowed out in their coop when I get home (So I can keep an eye on them, the interaction with the dog, the cats etc)

Well, they duly went out about 5pm this evening. They were as good as gold. By 9pm this evening, when the ambient sunlight is beginning to go and it's darker because we have cloud, and cooler because we have a breeze, they set up an awful squawking. Along the lines of "let us in, we're cold, we're frightened, it's getting dark". I brought them in and they shut up. Completely!

Heaven knows what will happen in the next couple of weeks when they need to be out there permanently... I guess I'm going to have to go through the toddler tantrum stage all over again - but with chickens instead of toddlers!
