I'm hoping to get the school shoes today. I did go on monday and came back with 2 pairs of plimsoles, seen nothing else. Need to start thinking about the uniforms too.

Just done 3 pairs of school shoes (DS2, DS3 and DD2) and 1 pair of school trainers for DS3. Spent a horrific amount of money but at least next pair is half price. In our local shoe shop every 10th pair is half price. Having a large family this comes round quite quickly. I still need to do DS1 and he's size 8 1/2 so that will be a 1/2 price adult shoe.

Need to buy uniform for DS3 and more formal clothes for 6th form for DS1. He is growing faster than my passion flower shrub so I will leave that til the last minute at the end of August.

    ANYONE FOR HHC 12.15?

HHi done and dinner consumed. We've had my Grandad's soup - best soup in the world! Their freezer's broke so mum came over yesterday with an ice cream carton full of soup for us.

Afternoon all. Posting first and catching up later.

I've done the bathroom/toilet today and also dusted and vacuumed through downstairs.

One small load of washing hung round indoors. I've got more to do but tomorrow's forecast is better so I'm waiting to do it then. My washing machine is getting noisy so I've been looking at them online. Part of me is reluctant to order before the old one dies a death and the other part can't bear to think of being without a machine. Decisions, decisions.

Hope everyone's OK. Going to catch up a bit. My wedding anniversary today - 38 years - feel really old now......
