Pigpen i hope all goes well today,i'll be thinking of you.

Dusty I'm betting my fluffy dusters on a blue flybaby. :rotfl:

Greenbee, i'm so pleased for you.

DD has S&L at 3.30, i'm so pleased it's the last one. I'm hoping to get the school shoes today. I did go on monday and came back with 2 pairs of plimsoles, seen nothing else. Need to start thinking about the uniforms too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all

    Pigpen-postive vibes for you today.

Greenbee-great news regarding OH. Cupid certainly does seem to have been busy :D

Not looking forward to today as I need to tell DS and DD about XH girlfriend. They are going to say with him for a week tomorrow, although I will still have my niece for a few days so won't be on my own. Waiting for my niece to wake up before I tell them :(

Hoping to tidy the whole house while they are gone and get some clutter sorted. BF is planning on seeing about getting a day of work so we can spend it together :D

Well social worker came round yesterday so we will see how things goes

    CJ-when should I come round dinner :D

Just got the bill for the painting :eek::eek:

Don't get me wrong - it's a fair price and he did a really good job (and the prepping took time as it was well overdue for re-painting)

    But it's still

Now just got to do some money shuffling.

However today is for enjoying going out to lunch when my visitors arrive (and arguing over who invited who and is picking up the tab :rotfl:)

    Morning everyone.

Had a lovely time with Mum yesterday. Now she can see better she enjoyed looking at her cards and kept saying nice and lovely. She made me cry by giving me a big hug. I felt like a little girl again.

Dailies are done and about to start Living room. Have also got a HHI to tackle and want to make a pasta bake.

    lav1979 Congratulations.
juliejim Well done on paying your loan off.

Thanks for the tips on how to deal with errant lodgers! I have had a word with MrsLodger and she took it really well - room is now cleared and tidy!! TBH I don't think her mum has ever shown her how to do housework from the sounds of it  and she is lapping up anything I can tell/show her!!

Cycling - 'good' news - at least they can treat it now
Soappie - sorry, I remember the campaign now - good luck with it!

Pigpen - Hope everything goes smoothly for you today!

Valli - that has got to be The Funniest thread I have ever read on here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The man is a genius and should be writing sketches for TV!!

Have been swimming this morning (!), S&S kitchen, and moving on to Weds list. In addition, I need to get into the garden to
    • trim hedges
    • trim potted shrubs
    • deadhead flowers
    • dig up some potatoes
    • dig up the remainder of the cabbages and prep them for freezing
So will look forward to cleaning the bath later after I soak in it ;)
