congrats lav and hope you feel better soon

I'm off sick today, just exhausted and very nauseous and can't face working, even from home. Have a few bits I was needing to do anyway (was meant to be working from home today), which include picking up some stuff from a netmum about 12, and nipping to waitrose to get a bottle of scotch and card for DH's birthday tomorrow. Mr T also coming 12-2. Apart from that I will be putting my feet up I think.

Somethign else I need to do is get a new phone/contract. Mine is useless and hardly works!

Missed yesterday as I was out for most of it. Will have to catch up on that list and tackle today's alongside - that will be good exercise!!!

Lav - lovely news to read this time of the morning - congrats!!

Have caught up on most of the thread - not only is this thread getting my home all sorted out, but I am highly entertained by all the comings and goings and intrigues (what is your campaign about Soappie??? - did I miss part of the thread?)

Have my nephew and his wife staying with us at the moment as they are between houses. To be honest, I didn't think it would be as long as this, but happy to help out with accommodation as they are short of money ( I am not asking for any money for rent or bills). I am really shocked at how untidy they are. They have their own room and bathroom and I try not to go in as I am trying to give them their own space. OH and I are pretty much 'a place for everything and everything in its place - you can tell we don't have children!) They leave stuff all over the house, so I gathered it all up and took it in their room. Mistake!!

I can't see the floor! There empty cans of beer and cider, clothes on the floor - too much to list here.

Dilemma - do I say something, and if so, what? I am a bit disappointed that they are treating my home like this, but recognise their need for their own space....... ???

have decluttered breakfast and washed up.

have printed off a map of the hospital so we know where to go today DD1 is having a pelvic scan to see if they can discover the cause of her intermittent (but crippling) abdominal pain.

when this scan was suggested it seemed like a good idea...however she is now very stressed about it - esp the need for a full bladder..plus the fact that she doesn't like people touching her stomach!

I feel it's going to be a tough day! So I'll clear up now and head out to the hairdressers.

    Greenbee - happy news!
    Lav1979 - congratulations!
Jan - that's a difficult one. I don't think I'd say anything about 'their' rooms (provided they tidy and clean before they leave), but maybe you can ask them diplomatically not to leave stuff around the rest of the house.
