re Chatsworth - it needs Flyladies - it needs dusting...oak room pillars especially ;)

  • Morning, erm no, good afternoon flygang,

I've just woken up , the cough had taken a turn for the worse, and is only manageable if I don't speak or go into dusty places or move. DH ordered me to stay home and for once I complied.

So am going to gently potter, sat on my rear end as much as possible. I aim to

    Sort this desk out.
    File outstanding bits.
    Update spreadsheets.
Church credit control & aged debtors.
    Order DS's name tapes.
DS's washing onto line if it brightens up, airer if not.
    Empty bins.
Wash Dyson filters & dust canister.
Get various dates into my diary - its that time of year for flurries of things arriving sin't it?
    Write to my fave niece.

Right - iced tea? check Then time to flutter...

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Hi

Cycling - hope your day is not as bad as you though it was going to be. Sending you all coping vibes.

Fought and won another skirmish with laundry and done a bit of decluttering along the way, but DS1 is not as helpful as I need him to be. I thought I could rely on him once the audition was out of the way. Oh well, looks like I won't take him shopping later. ;)
Lunch made and decluttered (DS2 and me), as DS1 and friend had a big late breakfast. Time for a coffee, then checking on WM and getting in the shower. NN has offered to have DS2 for a bit later, so that will help. I think I may have to get some more food in, as we're running out bread and other bits.
I'll update my list later, but don't hold out much hope. x

    ETA
WM 1+2 finishing in the dryer
    WM 3 out on airer
WM 4 on (only about 4 more to go)
    coffee slurped
    off for a shower

Just arranged for friends (visiting area) to call tomorrow before going off for lunch. :j
Which is lovely, but downstairs will have to be 'presentable' in case they arrive early - in time for coffee :eek:

    Afternoon all.

List has been started (in any case, Mr LW did some that's on it at the weekend) and pizza dough is currently being made in the BM.

Lav many congratulations on the arrival of your daughter.

Greenbee come on, spill the beans!!:D
have decluttered breakfast and washed up.

have printed off a map of the hospital so we know where to go today DD1 is having a pelvic scan to see if they can discover the cause of her intermittent (but crippling) abdominal pain.

when this scan was suggested it seemed like a good idea...however she is now very stressed about it - esp the need for a full bladder..plus the fact that she doesn't like people touching her stomach!

I feel it's going to be a tough day! So I'll clear up now and head out to the hairdressers.
Awww, I do so sympathise with her - I hate any sort of physical contact with anyone other than Mr LW, and visits to the rheumy are a nightmare. Can she maybe think of it as a necessary, if not pleasant, procedure so that she'll (hopefully) see an end to the horrible abdominal pains? Sending posi-vibes.

Aaarrrggghhh there was a load more I was going to reply to, but my brain just went AWOL. I'll go dust something, and maybe it'll come back to me.:o
