  • Neglected again!!
With my January pay I will be able to finally pay off my Pink friend. It has taken a little Christmas hit :o

I have been doing a bit of Babysitting again recently and have saved all that money so I am going to pay off the remainder on my Pink Friend as of 28th December.

    Money Saving New Years Resolutions

    1. Save, save, save!!
~ I am continuing the VSP challenge
~ I am doing the Sealed Pot Challenge
~ I am joining the £2 Coin Savings Club
~ I am saving all my £1 coins as well each time I lose weight at fat club! :D

    2. Mortgage savings will be back on track - As much as I love my parents I really need a place to call my own, I just need to save for it!

That's it 2011 is the year to knuckle down and save as much money as I possibly can :D:D

I have worked out the little short fall I thought I might have I should be able to pay it off with babysitting money that I am hopefully doing in the next few weeks - that will now all depend on the crappy weather - my car is snowed in big time!

  • My DFW resolutions for 2011 are:

    1. To pay off my pink friend aka the CC!! :D
    2. Save, Save and Save some more for a house deposit! (Hopefully have a decent deposit by late 2012) :)
    3. Put ALL my babysitting money into savings for my house deposit.
    4. Try to leave all savings in their accounts instead of dipping into them each month.
    5. Use my phone app to keep track of my spending. ( I use it constantly and its a great way of seeing how much I am spending and on what!)

AND FINALLY - Not so much DFW

    6. Get to my goal weight at WW (This may possibly happen before Christmas :j)

I may even start a new diary to chart my progress through this :)

  • Hellooooo! :hello:

Quick question - are your savings earning a higher rate of interest than the interest you are paying on the credit card? ;) Yep, you know where this is headed, don't you! :D

  • I have come up with a little(Well kinda BIG) plan :D

I get paid a week early for Christmas so payday is Monday :(
    HOWEVER
I am beginning to pool all my money from savings accounts (VSP included), paypal etc together and I am going to make a HUGE payment to my pink friend and clear it before Christmas as I initally said I would :D:D

I have done myself a spreadsheet with all the money I need to withdraw from each account to clear the lot!! :T

So come New Year I will be officially debt free again and 2011 will most definately be starting 2011 as a saver :j:j

Hope you are all having a great weekend
