Funnily enough there was a +5v wire to pin 1, which seems to not normally have a function.
I had to fit a stereo to my other halfs fiat punto, I also found that there was a problem with the positive etc so I got a small piece of wire and scotch locked both radio live wires to the constant permanant live of the car.0 -
Bought one of these stereos today for £69.99, Aldi seem to have reduced them!!
Fitted in 5 minutes and had very few problems phoning my girlfriend to apologise for blowing £70!!
However, for the price it seems a very good deal and I have found no problems so far. Stereo seems to have reception on a par with my JVC unit and the bluetooth seemed very easy to set up.
The only problem I found driving across Wales was that if you drop out of reception then it does not recognise that the call has ended so does not bring the radio back on. After a bit of trial and error picking up and putting down the 'handset' seems to get around it.
A very good bargain so far, just got to stick the old unit on ebay now to try and make it even cheaper!0
