Thanks for the run down on the best car stereos gents, but this is a thread about cheap bluetooth car stereo's. I know there might be better stereo's out there for £500 or even for the same price but do they have bluetooth?!?!
Thanks

so you can hook it up to your mobile and use it like a hands free kit (make and receive calls through the stereo instead).0 -

Pioneer make one:

Yeah there seem to be quite a few about since i looked a while back. Not in this price range though!!mcsquared wrote:$ony dont have a good reputation for good car audio, if you want good quality get an Alpine, Becker or Blaupunkt
I've always found sony to be quite good although having said that my mp3 one did have to go away to be fixed !!gromituk wrote:That could have been the fault of the aerial. Did you try an alternative radio?
Yes I tried my sony mp3 unit which has a much better tuner. As the pug one was a factory fit made my Clarion I'd have thought they'd have got it right!! It also had a weird feature whereby if you selected traffic programmes and scanned for another station then it would only lock on stations that did traffic reports, very odd.
I've decided against this one as I'll wait till they also have usb support which some of the more expensive ones have already !
Cheers

I bought one of these and the handsfree works superbly.
Cant go wrong for 80quid.
Really is a good little bargain.
oh and the FM pickup is top notch aswell.0 -
Sounds good, now to find £80????

I think the saying of 'You get what you pay for' is apt here. Would go for something like the Pioneer, or buy a proper bluetooth handsfree kit if that is what you after.0

"you get what you pay for" is exactly the opposite of what this site is about. I think you're talking about "brand engineering". You don't seem even to have tried the product, yet you're stating it's no good.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
