Canceling Sky

Hi, Thinking about canceling my Sky and using my box box as a freesat box, However am wondering will I still be able to use the recorded function on the box ? and will I able to use the sky player or will that function be lost when I cancel ?

No recording (unless you pay Sky £10 for the privilege!)You will also lose anything that you have recorded but not yet watched.
Think you have to be subscribed to Sky to receive anything on Sky Player, not sure if you can pay for it seperately.0 -
Thanks, think I'll go with out the recording if it will cost me something, Don't really watch too much TV these days so grudge paying them there monthly fee. Contract ends in Oct, Going to phone them tomorrow to see if I can put in the cancellation request to end when contract runs out :j0
