    OP,

If I were you I would stop responding to the obnoxious poster that seems only interested in cheap point scoring and trying to make you feel bad. They clearly take delight in winding up people who come here looking for help and are incapable of understanding how ridiculous it makes them look. They actually think they are being clever.
    Not even wrong

    Yeah good point.

Mind you it is like trying to shoot fish in a barrel! :rotfl:

There's always one every summer. ;)

    Twopints,

I hardly think Takoda is being obnoxious as he/she is only pointing out the facts based on the Ops info. The relative who passed away spent their own money, albeit in a stupid or silly way. Neither here nor there.

It was THEIR money to spend how they thought. For the OP to come on here and post on how a refund was possible beggars belieif. It was never the OPs money, and if the OPs parents were stupid or silly enough to spend THEIR money on an overpriced funeral, when honestly you still end up in a hole in the ground, then that is their, choice no-one forced them.

What's next, will the OP be on here asking about a refund on the over-priced funeral?

    Cheers for that Bill. :)

T'is very true that Twopints is wrong and I wasn't being deliberately obnoxious - just pointing out a few really obvious facts. The OP seemed to want a dialogue about it so I obliged. Some people no doubt think I was being harsh but she didn't exactly begin her opening post by saying how upset she was at the death of her relative - clawing some money back seemed to be the most important factor so I guess that coloured my opinion of her and painted her in an unflattering light.

Anyway the good that came out of this is that everyone who has read it now knows that the alarm company Direct Resonse sell cheap alarms but rip people off with high maintenance fees.

I suspect, looking at the thread discussion dates that this is already resolved now...

Much as I'd love our new friend's posts to disappear back to the mudhole they came from, it would a shame to see them go as it shows the company for what they are.

EDIT: That company being Direct Response Security in case there was any doubt
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
