They don't worry me at all - some do make me jump but I won't say more as I know some people get very upset by spids. I'm fine with most things except snakes but I've never had to deal with a snake so maybe I'd be fine with them too!

I agree that tv looks poor. I shall have to start a new book, tho may have a lovely pampering bath first :D

I had a little alcohol craving appear at teatime and I batted it away in a few seconds longer than usual. Still AF on number 7

The curry was delish and I made 4 portions for just over £5 which work out at probably around £1.40 per portion - v.pleased with this and have 3 to stick in the freezer for the next few weekends.

Feel very full and a bit bored so think I'd better go and make the bed before its time to get in it!

Glad I ran in between the heavy rain showers earlier on and feel like I've had a long workout after that!

    OMG, I'm knackered!!

What a day! Those of you on FB will know what the PIggy household has been up to today.

This morning we went to the Lyneham Family fun day - last one before it closes (OH's brother works as a civvie there so got us passes). Within half hour of being there, there was torrential rain. We were soaked. At that point we had just fought our way up a steep hill to see the hercules all being prepared for take-off , so caught the full onslaught of the rain. There was no way we were trawling around that wet (trust me, my jeans come out of the washing machine drier than they were today!!!!) So we all toddled off home.

This afternoon, to make up for it, we took the kids to basingstoke Aquadrome. Was having a nice leisurley swim when step-son suggests I go on the Space Bowl. Never been so scared in my entire life. It was horrendous!!!!! Whacked my head on the bowl as I shot out of the tube at 90mph and then hit the water head first!!

So I'm sure you'll all excuse me for having wine tonight:D

    Miss P
    xx

  • Oh Miss P that sounds awful. Brought back the memory of something similar in Poole while on holiday. DSs waiting at the bottom of a tube for me and 10 mins later I still hadn't appeared. Fell off the tube thing I was sitting on half way down and couldn't get back on it. Never again

    You are definitely excused :)
  • Miss P, you have my sympathies.
DB, sounds like you have experienced Splashdown....!
