Rant warning: first I don't have anybody to come and talk to me on my diary and then when someone does they can't be arsed to read the whole thread and advice me to do something that I have already done
Thanks - feeling better..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I love this pork thread on a Sunday:D. I'm obsessed with the stuff and had to avert my eyes at the supermarket. It's so delish and you get so much for your money! Did you do the gravy from sieved veg like it says in the recipe DD?& am now sitting idly here flicking round the forums...I really need to get off my behind & do something!!!still flicking HB. Jo told you that shredding's bad for you, you must be exhausted, give it up!!
Hope lurky's not expired from man flu.
I had more than a few glasses at hen do on Friday and suffered for it yesterday.:o I'm not advocating my behaviour but having the odd hangover really helps focus and why I can't drink to excess any more.
It's a glorious day here and I'm going to sit in the garden for a while before starting on my roast lamb (that's cooking it not eating it)!0 -

Yes, squashed the garlic cloves, mashed the carrots with a fork, crumbled an oxo cube over it all, added a bit of flour, cooked for a minute (stirring all the time) and then added water from carrots/swede I'd cooked.
Then bunged the lot through a strainer into saucepan and simmered for a bit.
Very tasty!
Have got the left over veg (Carrots/swede/cauli cheese and red cabbage) with a couple of yorkshires and the rest of the gravy for tea tonight.Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j
