What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Morning all,

I'm feeling really gutted today. After seriously controlling my alcohol intake and even having a few af days since joining this forum I completely lost it yesterday. My system is now flooded and it will be hard to climb down again.

I will fight the bl**dy demons though. I felt much better when I was in control.

I am feeling positive even though I am hungover. I WILL do it.

In fact. I am declaring a 24 hour challenge, midday today 'til midday tomorrow. If anyone wants to join me I will keep score so just let me know.

Sorry to have let myself and the rest of you down.

  • I'll join you RNM - x and no one lets anyone down here - onwards - be nice to yourself today............

shaggy I've one more to declare (sorry it won't let me do red)

Brilliant that we can all meet up finally - hugs to those too far or tied up to come - be great to meet everyone - I'm glad that my crashing into the sarf as jo puts it is a great excuse to finally all catch up (we call it 'sooth', mind you anywhere in the UK mainland is considered to be 'sooth' here - you're often asked when are you next 'sooth' - could be john o groats, could be devon - its all 'sooth')

:) merci for the well wishes I'm still sellotaped to the bed.
