blue_monkey - Thanks for your reply and the information. I think I will wait until I have been and had a proper fitting before ordering anything.

No worries. I'd definately recommend getting a fitting so that you know what to look for in the future when choosing a bra. A good fitter will have time to speak to you and answer any questions you might have as well as trying different styles too.

Elantan I've had breast surgery but also have neck/shoulder problems, and whilst I do have other bras, this is the one I buy over and over and tend to wear most days. It does give good support, and is available in your size (go down the page, it says GG-J). Not expensive and anyway of course you can return it if it's no good. Hope that helps.

    Hi all,

Do any of you know if there are any shops that sell aa bras? I have tried on all sorts of cups and an a still doesn't fit properly :( I am currently looking for a strapless bra but in a balcony style as this seems to suit me better as I have no top boob if that makes sense hehe

    Thanks in advance

I want to thank everyone on this thread for giving me the push to finally go and get properly measured at the weekend

I've always measured myself before using methods I found on the internet and always come up as a 34AA - which I've never thought was right because I'm not that small! So I went to Debenhams and the lady there was really nice and helpful and definitely knew what she was doing. And it turns out I'm a 32D! :j So I went into M&S and stocked up on 5 new bras of the correct size using a voucher I got for my birthday.

I feel a lot more comfy today and it's done wonders for my body image - now instead of being embarrassed by my tiny AA cups, I'm proud of my Ds!

woah there's a massive difference between AA cup and D ,how can they / you whoever get it so wrong lol ?!

When it comes to buy a bra I usually try to put them on my body. I don't really care about the brand and don't even remember the brand of my bras that suit me better, may be not trying to remember it lol. I only feel a bit worry when I get weight gain. That is the time I find my bra size changes.

Can anyone tell me what type of bra to get so that I don't 'fall out' of the cup if I lean over?
I have recently remeasured as I have lost weight and was wearing 42f instead of what I should have been....36H. So, now I have a bra that fits snugly around the back and is supportive, but I would dearly love to get one that doesn't let me fall out. I have one bigger than the other, and it's the bigger one that falls out.
Is there anything I can do to sew a panel across or something?
And please don't tell me to go to a really expensive shop.I honestly don't have the money!!!

(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Actually La Senza sizes do seem to be completely different. I'm a 34FF in Panache and Freya, but my La Senza bikini is 38F and that cup is on the generous side!

It's a lovely bikini, but it's got these humungus foam cups, and when you get out of the pool, you have to give yourself a 2-handed boob-squeeze to get rid of about a litre of water the cups have absorbed!!
