....don't get up to your usual shenanigans Big Mumma otherwise you'll be getting us all a bad reputation! Kettle & pot m'dear, kettle & pot... (For newcomers to this thread, you will always be able to find the NSD gang - just follow the blue flashing lights....)
When you get to where you're going, the excess baggage will be because we've all snuck into your luggage--you don't get away THAT easy :p As this is turning into a karaoke thread again, I'll go with

You'll not believe it but I had my first ever proper portion of this brand only this week :o I'd had a weeny taster a couple of times, but my darling Offspring decided to invest in some seeing as it's been on offer. Imagine gold creatures in a bowl & that's what I had, while a couple of the others had a cooked american district :rotfl:
I am sooooo with you on the cleaning bit; my furniture would be warn down to the nails & splinters if I were to be like that tho :( so a smidge of an advantage to not being the next Anthea Redweed.

Ballooning...errmmm..they won't pop will theyanxious.gif..I hate it when balloons pop str.gif..can I was from a web link or something :o

As thought, no further nsds to add to my total yet. Could be dodgy on Monday too, as I need to return a couple of things I bought yesterday & will no doubt be wiled into getting a few bits while I'm there :undecided

  • sooorrrry, very busy at work, not arrested for strangling secretary (but it was close, very very close)

So didn't get one on Thursday but did get one yesterday, so that's another one for me please Spoon.

Hubert's in the huff bigtime cos he can't come on a balloon, he says he'll wear his slippers if that would help, he's doing the pretty please face.

Can the Tardis pick me up to take me or do I have to steal errr find a balloon (know a lot of balloons!) to bring me?

Must go and catch up, and sometimes peeps, a wee bit of crap is essential, so no beating yourselves up, worse things happen at sea and possibly in/on balloons................

Got both my 5th and 6th NSDs over the last 2 days.

Had to do a bit of spending today to get some essential groceries, but hope to be half way towards my target before the weekend is out!

Another NSD yesterday for me please, bringing my total to 6 :j.
Not sure how today will pan out, I don't particularly need anything but Ive got a busy day sorting house and Ive got estate agent coming to value it as we are considering re-locating. Had enough of living in a city, want to bring my boy up somewhere lovely (and cheaper!!!!) Where is nice to live in the UK? Hmmm possibilities are endless. Husband has handed in his notice as he hates his job and after we pay childcare its not really worth it as I am the breadwinner anyway so he has decided till something better comes along he is going to take little monkey out of nursery and look after him himself.

I'm not sure how I feel, everything is happening so quickly and Im getting worried but I guess life would be pretty dull without adventures and challenges right?

Wow, what an adventure ahead of you fi76!!

If you are looking for a great place to live and bring up your son, and don't mind travelling a fair way...have you thought about Orkney? My mother's family is all from (and still live) there and I lived in Kirkwall from the age of 2 to 6. We then moved south to Caithness, so not far, and a possibility if you want to stay on the Scottish mainland. I love the slower pace, and the wonderful scenery. Education is great, and housing is cheaper than England.

Ofcourse, you do have to re-adjust, accepting cooler summers, and lots of windy/wet days...but I would move back there tomorrow given the chance...not sure about DH though!!

Declaring today as NSD no 8, half way now!! Hope to pick up another tomorrow.

Busy sanding again...nearly finished this unit...taking ages to do!! DH has been taking the handles off, so there is some filling to do before getting the paint out.
Hopefully it will look good when it's all painted....first coat tomorrow I hope!! At least they are forecasting a drier day!!

Hope you all have a good day and evening...not sure if I will make it to the ballooning tonight...really have to get loads of sewing done!!

Right off to the shed again...where's the filler gone??

I've never even had a taster...... Still a lot more expensive on offer than I'm happy to pay, so resist splurging in case I find it becomes something I need on a regular basis ;)
