Good morning all!
Reporting #8 for yesterday, yay!
Very relaxing day yesterday, got on well with knitting so back on target!
Eventful morning so far - dog decided to roll in fox's doo doo this morning, so he required to be washed from head to tail when we got back..............needless to say he's not Mummy's favourite boy ATM! Not the best start to the day, but hey, it can only get better eh?
Today I'm helping my Mum at the church coffee morning/ summer fair. She's selling some knitting ( bargain prices IMO) and some crafty things. I love the coffee mornings, lots of home baking and goodies to be bought so it wont be a NSD but it's for a good cause, so I dont mind!;)
I'll be baking this afternoon as we are off to Glasgow tomorrow to visit BIL and family. He's built a granny flat in his house for my inlaws and they've just moved in. It's like the Walton's!
I'm baking a strawberry cream gateau to take as a pressie. Looking forward to seeing them all. BIL's youngest daughter has had a year long fight with leukamia but thankfully is ok and goes back to school on Monday after being in and out of hospital since May 2009.:T
Have a lovely day everyone:)

Not sure if I'll make the balloon festival tonight or not - have spent some time last night and this morning trying to explain the concept of 'virtual outings' to OH, but I'm not totally convinced he "gets" it
I have, however, found a way of hooking my laptop onto his Internet connection (brought a cable with me to bypass all the wireless security his DS put in place) - so all I need to do now is convince him he wants to play on-line Poker this evening
Not sure whether I can class yesterday as an NSD or not? I ended up spending the grand total of 40p on a banana and 2 jam doughnuts, but this was for medicinal reasons !!! I just about blacked out at work at 3:30pm, and the only reason I could think of (thinking back over what I'd eaten in the previous 24 hours) was a low sugar count after my running.
It's 17 years since I had a 'whoozy' episode, and have only ever totally blacked out twice - once when pregnant with DS1 who's now 21 and the episode 17 years ago - though yesterday was very close, and I only just made it out of sight of customers before dropping to floor level to recover! So, when I clocked out, I had a doughnut for an instant sugar fix and the banana for slow release (had the car at work to drive straight to OH's), then had the other doughnut a bit later to be sure I was OK.
Felt fine for the rest of the day, and feel fine this morning. But I will be taking some biscuits out for a post-run snack tomorrow (along with the other slow release bits I brought with me)Cheryl0 -

Morning all NSD'ers
well yesterday was another comfort spending day, Nothing outrageous but shopping I didn't need like ben and jerry's ice cream....justifying it as it was cheaper than normal :rotfl:mind you I made myself get some electric while i was out so I don't need to spend later in the week so that was a good thing. I got myself some flowers too..........first time in years I can put a vase on the table without it getting knocked off, these are all odd things
I am hoping to be back on track today, am on an early shift and have left purse at home.....so need to be doing this again, Oh why can't I be one of those people who obsessively clean when they have feelings instead of one who buys c**p
See you all later x

Morning all!
It will be a spendy day for me today as I'm actually going out tonight - doesn't happen that often! Just a few drinks and a curry - nothing super flash.
I'm also doing the food shop today but don't count that.
I do plan to buy 2 lockable tins for saving £1 coins towards Xmas and next years car insurance but they're only £1 each so won't break the bank.
That should be it and I think tomorrow will be a NSD as I have no plans apart from going for a walk and tea at the inlaws for OH's birthday.
Have a good outing tonight - will be thinking of you. BEHAVE!!!0 -

Know how you feel on this one. My house would be a glistening palace by now if I cleaned when down instead of reaching for the coins and choc
Aiming for NSD today and tom. Just need to be good now x0 -

((((hugs)))) Kathy
We're all different, one person will clean obsessively, others like you (and me) will go and spend money as a comfort thing.
Don't beat yourself up about it too much at the moment, you're going though a grieving process and that makes all of us behave in a much more extreme way. You'll get yourself back under control again, spending some time with your mum and talking things through with her will help.
Thinking about you, take care
