Good morning all - you bunch of reprobates!
There are blobs of green custard everywhere, door is hanging off the shed, and strange pieces of tartan material(knickers, BMF) hanging off the trees. Just finished shovelling the compost courtesy of Hubert.
I need to wipe all my records, something awfully sticky on them. Mr Jinty B has left the country in a state of shock!

Hope the tardis made it back to base ok,

On a serious note - made it NSD #13 yesterday, went for a lovely walk along the beach with the dog. It was "busking" day down there so it was good fun with loads of different singers doing their thing.
Mr Jintyb bought us chips, which were yummy. Chips in the open air are like a gourmet meal - Im a cheap date I know;)

Should be another today - the target is in sight.

On another subject -I need some advice- my niece is off to uni at the weekend. She's in halls and needs practical things like pots, towels, plates, cutlery. Her Mum is getting all that for her, any ideas what I could contribute?

    Have a lovely day all!:)

    morning all,

my tartan trousers will never be the same, that green custard stuff of Nargle's has set solid at the knees, thought I was a statue when I woke up!
Hubert is home with a very sheepish looking giraffe, that giraffe is NOT staying, its going back to the zoo, I've heard of folk stealing penguins, but a giraffe!!!
Aliens have phoned, they'll be back later, they seem to have met a drumming gorilla somewhere.
I think we had a good night out, sorry about the shed Jinty, but you did do a bit of snoring, had to turn the music up to drown you out!

give me a call Spoon if the tardis needs a clean again, you'd think it could clean itself at its age.

So no NSD yesterday as I bought a sandwich at lunchtime, but should be today as am not going anywhere except out into the garden to attack a huge brambly vine thing which has appeared under the fence from nasty neighbours, anyone got a machete???

I take it then, that I am the only one to wear unmentionables when we go out as everyone always accuses me of leaving them behind! Ak-chew-lee, I wern't there lass night--I had to project my images telly pathetically as my earthly connections are still wobbly, so those bloomers are most definitely not mine!

Arthur will have to trim his own seat as I don't see a window of opportunity arising any time soon before next spring; I'm trying to get the washing out on the line down here but it's so miserable methinks I'll be living in the midst of the Chinese laundry again this weekend :o

New mero vangt for yesterday & it looks like I need to polish my Spanish if I'm visiting Parry on the next shindig. Voe see un a peringo pour fa vor mercy pal.

Vouchers are good, jinty, did the same thing with my niece. I also bought her a couple of cheap-ish photo frames so she could personalise her room a bit and some tupperware style containers for storing stuff - they're always useful (even for students:D).
