sometimes its hard but its better also cos I make one shopping trip for stuff (which can be tiring) but it saves on petrol. It also mean that you tend to sleep on purchases which I need to do more. Sales don't entice me as much which is good cos stuff I buy in sales sometimes doesn't get used.

hi all, thanks solvent for starting the thread again.
Well i lost track last month. Had so many outgoings it was unreal. I did manage to get 10 NSD's but i couldn't keep up with the thread. So this i'm determined to keep on track as i have more outgoings again this month arghhhh

So i would like to start with 10 again for this month, i get anyone then bonus if not well at least i tried.

This month i'm making three more pairs of curtains, two more bags, a cushion and a dress so that should hopefully keep me out of trouble.

    God luck all!

    hows your kitty/puppy today?
kennel cough both of our dogs had this years ago, its an awful thing to contract. Ours also contracted it while out walking.
    welcome to all newcomers!

Today will probably be a spend day as i'm buying more material for curtains. DS1 wants me to make him some news ones for his bedroom. Yesterday i had no chance as bus fares for me and the boys cost over £6
, public transport cheap by back side, would only have £1.50 in diesel!
Right i'm off to the market to buy fresh fruit and stuff.

    :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Today is going to be a horrid spendy day :(:(

My Orphan boy was off his food last night and a bit quiet but other than that he was fine, we had a walk and the only thing that was different about him was that he seemed to want to sleep in the corner in Mandy's bed rather than on the chair like he usually does, he hasn't done this since Mandy died despite me having changed all the bedding and everything which I always thought was odd as they used to try and push each other out when she was alive, don't know why I kept it really, guess I was always hoping he'd use it :(

Oh my God I am so crying I can't see the screen properly :(

Woke up, quiet....................no mad barking at neighbour on his way to work.............no rush for the door when I came downstairs........no waggy tail.............went to wake him......... :(:(

Still can't believe it, still don't want to say it, he's still there, he looks like he'll wake up in a minute and come and put his nose on my knee and tell me to get off the computer like he does but he's not going to :(:A:(

Rang vet, they are usually so nice but I felt fobbed off, she gave me a number to ring so cremation people can come and collect him she just seemed to want to get me off the line. I'm wanting to know WHY??? he wasn't ill......Mandy was, I knew what was going to happen with her, Orphan wasn't. I'm tearing myself apart thinking WHY?? How come I didn't notice anything?? he was only 11 there hasn't been anything wrong with him. he often gets picky with his food, that's just him. There's been no odd lumps and bumps, no coughs. no pain, no creaky legs, nothing he's been his usual self. I feel it's my fault, I should have noticed something but there was nothing to notice :(

Cremation people...........'we go by weight' 'no van at moment, will ring when someone available' 'individual cremation?' 'house number' your name?' For God's sake stop being so normal!!!! Orphan is dead don't they understand?????? 'credit card is fine' 'will ring you when van available' please just ask me his name once......sound like you care :(

So sorry to dump this here it just all came out, needed to do something.....still do, don't know what just something!! will be back later xxxxx

    Hi Kathy

I tried to think of something reassuring to say as I went through this back in 2000 and I know how hard it is. But I couldn't think of anything good to say, so all I can do is say :hugsssss:
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Oh Kathy - you poor thing and poor Orphan. I can't really offer anything reassuring to say as it won't make any difference. I can't say I have gone through the same thing, because I haven't, but I did lose my Zak two years ago and that is still really hard (although he was put to sleep which I know is very different) It's just an awful feeling and it must have been such a terrible shock for you. Just come on here and vent whenever you feel like it - there are lots of pet owners (current and past) on here who you can have some pet chat with and equally if you don't want to talk about it we can distract you too.

    Lots of hugs

    Jo

  • Oh Kathy, I'm having a weep as well. I know this won't make it any easier, cos not a lot does, but you have been given a lovely gift from Orphan Boy, he went himself and it meant you didn't need to ever make that awful decision. I know he seemed well and that makes it very hard, but he had a lovely life with you and was happy and he just slept away.............when my precious doggle was ill, I used to pray he would just sleep away cos we were such cowards, he didn't though and we had to do the deed.

Have a good weep cos it helps and we are here for you, it'll take a while and that is fine.
