I would say it's still an nsd as the circumstances are/were completely out of your control. You have to keep hydrated, sugar levels up & a calm demeanour while you're playing host shall we say :D Just take care OK?

One should always listen to the advice of any woman whose name contains the word Mumma! Spoon can you add me one more for yesterday? Not even sure what that puts me on anymore, have more or less given up all hope of making target anyway. Will make a fresh start for September and go back to my usual stricter rules then. For August I'm firmly into damage limitation!

Spoony and Kathy40Uk thank you very kindly for your well wishes. Kathy I hope you find someone special soon, not to replace Orphan, but because you clearly have spare love left over going to waste and the right furry someone would definately want to love you back in return for that.
unfortunately not a good three days for me ds broke his leg on Thurs night and wanted mcdonalds on way home from hospital, Friday had to go back to hosp so car parking fee, didn't get to do food shopping so ordered pizzas for tea. Same story yesterday so chinese last night. I need to order food online to get back on budget, but what can you do when he can't get about and I don't want to leave him???

I've been having a month like that too crisispoint, sometimes life just doesn't want to play nicely, try not to beat yourself up too much- stuff happens, there's a whole new month starting soon, we can both turn over a new one then. There's nothing so expensive and disruptive as the dramas of ones kids!
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

Crisipoint, hope you DS is ok soon, look on the brightside, he'll be housebound for a while so could do a bit of dusting!

When is the next NSD outing? Hubert's getting restless and his bowels are fine!

I was thinking about our next outing today, dopey, and wondering if jinty would mind if we invaded her garden shed (considering she keeps copious quantities of alcohol in there I thought it might be a good place to be:D:D:D:D). Hubert might be quite useful for fertilizer as well (well, not him exactly, but the little presents he leaves behind.

How about next weekend to celebrate our achievements this month?
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • I'm up for that, just a quick swish across the M8, I'm practically local. BigMumma could always nip up and give Arthur's Seat its final cut and we could catch the end of the Festival, some really earnest productions still going on. Just have to be careful of the copious holes in Edinburgh's roads (half finished trams) and we're sorted! Hubert says yes and he has a relative on the beach at Granton............
