Good morning all,
Sorry for the confusion re the shed party, although you're all welcome in my shed any time!;)
Last night, the surprise party for my sis and BIL was fantastic! They had absolutely no idea! It was held in her friend's house which overlooks the sea and is a perfect setting for a party. She really did them proud with a beautiful buffet and lots of bubbly! Great night!:T
Congratulations Slowly Fading, its lovely to hear your news! When do we all have to get our hats out?:rotfl: You know how we all love a wedding on here!
Pleased to report NSD # 11 for yesterday, so I'm getting there!
Finished the second baby cardi yesterday' and I've got wool left over so I'll do a wee hat to go with it. It's for my neighbours' first baby.I know the baby has arrived as they went off to hospital early hours Friday, but I dont know what it is yet. I'm hoping it's a girl as of the stuff I've knitted I like the pink best!
Have a lovely day everyone:)

....I too need to wear my glasses at the computer...have them on "granny strings", so I don't lose them...and it works!! Often walk out of work with them still round my neck! :rotfl:....
I'm long sighted so even plain glass in the top bit of a lens fuzzies the view but as for reading labels--forgeddit. Because I'm vertically challenged & have short arms, if I leave my granny strings on I squish my glasses between me & the steering wheel
Not today either- quick overnight stay at the hospital last night (we're fine BTW, the Dr was just being cautious) and therefore it was a train ride back today because I got discharged 7 hours before boyfriend could possibly have got here from work. So of course on top of the essential bus/train/taxi there was a train station hot chocolate- no NSD for me.
Tomorrow though! (This is the third time I've said this), will get an NSD in tomorrow! I am NOT going out and if I do it is NOT going to be in an ambulance so I will NOT get discharged from hospital halfway through darling boyfriends working day, NOT go to the train station and NOT buy anything at all! So there! And I wantonly defy any Gods who say otherwise!Just take care OK?
Many Congratulations SF & here's to a lifetime of Happiness x
Well, new modem is up & crawling  so tinawb is still very hit & miss, so if I go missing tis not my fault! A plus has been realising I missed an nsd from earlier in the week so I'm actually on 15 now :T--I like those mistakes-- & it should have been
boogiein on down yesterday..don't know what happened there :undecided
Have a good day all. We had thought about going to the weekly market but it's that continual heavy drizzle with sharp heavy showers, plus they forecast thunder. I've nowt to go for if I'm honest so it looks like a day of housewifery for me--that'll make a change

Crisispoint - I think we can conisder these exceptional circumstances so don't be too hard on yourself. Hope DS makes a speedy recovery - then can help around the house lots showing his appreciation for all the care you have been giving, and the fact you have ruined a NSD in the name of a Maccy D's
Well, today not quite panned out as planned, got up at 6.20am to get ready for car boot and it was chucking it down - sky was totally grey and it looked as if a deluge was on for the day. So phoned my friend to say 'don't bother getting up, it's going to be p*ssing down all day by the look of it'...went back to bed for a couple more hours and woke up to glorious sunshine! So now I feel I've wasted what would have been excellent car booting weather, and my spare room looks like a car boot itself as I had everying in there ready to go....:mad: this really isn't my weekend! Still, on track for a NSD today. Got food in and no plans to go out.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
