Hi there,

I'm not clued by on mobiles.

My daughter wants a touchscreen phone for her birthday, with plenty or internet and text, but not much call required.

What and where would people suggest ?

Contract would be not be ideal (long story).

    Budget?

    Consider buying this phone (which has WiFi) for £89.95 on T-Mobile, and putting a GiffGaff SIM card in it. Carphone Warehouse's phones are unlocked, so no issues there.

    Buy a 'Goodie Bag' from GiffGaff, which for £10 (at the moment £5) a month will get 100 minutes, unlimited texts and internet. No contracts, you just buy it with your credit.

    Or, if you've a bit more cash, look at this for a more luxurious and nicer choice. You can then put the GiffGaff SIM in, as above.
