Blocked sink

    Remove the trap and fire one of these through it, failing that CALL A PLUMBER.

    Its not blocked so wont be any use buying them, the area we live its called a sink . Oh well will have to leave it cant afford to call a plumber hence posting on here

    As no one has bothered mentioning it the waste pipe might slope upwards after the trap which would cause the problem.

    Also if the waste is shared then you may have air blockage problems.


    I would put money on it being one or the other.

    You can live in a house & have a shared waste pipe.

    It can be shared with a bath, another sink, dishwasher, washing machine. anything really.

    The other possibility is the person who fitted it managed to get a lump of plumbers mate in the trap....

    Without pictures it is either:

    Blocked Trap
    Air block in waste pipe
    Waste pipe sloping up
    Not Again
