Mobile phone with WI-FI

I am looking at getting an unlocked mobile phone from ebay which is wi-fi enabled. Do I need a specific sim card to allow the wi-fi or can I use the one out of my old phone (Vodafone)?

  • Hi there

Wi-Fi is wireless internet through your router (or free spots like McDonalds). You don't need a specific sim, but you may want to check whether the phone also has mobile internet (wap, 3g) as if it does and it connects to this rather than your wi-fi, it will cost you money.

Can you give us details of the phone? Make, model, etc.
