Stolen Oyster Card

how is that when the oyster line block it @ their end? its the same as a bank card. once reported its blocked. oyster even tell you the card cant be used and they refund you any balance's/tickets on the card!
this is why they tell you to register it. otherwise ur stuffed.
The card isn't physically blocked until a reader blocks it. Therefore it can still be used until it is blocked. It cannot be blocked over the air like a mobile phone!I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
so how do they refund you then if they know it ant be blocked?! I thought all they needed was the card number and the registered details?!0

They know how much is on it because when you tap it on a reader it uploads the information... It is just the reader you tap it on might not necessarily know to block the card.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0
