We had a little peep of sunshine just then. Soon went though.
May have to resort to filling in next year's diary.

Just come back from the NHS Walk in Centre - my daughter has a viral infection and has lost her voice and has a chest infection as well. All in all she is not feeling well at all.

Will join those of you in doing housework today, breaking it down in pieces as I can never get going properly in the afternoon, but I need to get something done - it is in CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome) not that anyone ever comes round, but you never know!

Bookie, it goes in waves..I think half the problem is I can't be bothered with it anymore. Where as I always used to find things to do and be enthusiatic now I would just rather sit and do nothing even if it is boring!

It's a year this weekend since I closed my shop - big decision after 23 years. I don't regret it although things have been, and always will be, tough.
After 6 months 'on the dole' I now have a job I love, I still have my lovely (in my eyes) bungalow and a huge amount of debt which will probably still be with me until I die. Also in the last year I have gained another grandson and seen my DD2 married. Talk about a rollercoaster! :)
I wouldn't have made it without the people on this thread - the support and fun have seen me through some very black days. Thanks to you all. :T
It's sad that so many of the 'old gang' aren't here now (I'm just as guilty I know) but hopefully they are lurking. I know it's impossible to turn the clock back but let's not forget the importance of this place and make an effort to pop in more often.

Well said Bookie *slaps bookie hard on the back*

Tenmah - hope your daughter feels better soon. I love the CHAOS thingy....funny!

Right all bathrooms done, Chloe's room done and all upstairs hoovered. Am even revving up for ebaying later. Then i may see what I can put on tomorrows list. I have achieved quite a lot today....
