Wow Bookie-that time has flown! This time last year my husband was a 747 skipper, flying all over the world to exotic places...now he's a pensioner!!!

!!!!!!-why is it teeth only ever start to play up at weekends when the dentist is shut?? I paid £100 for a filling on wednesday, and it's just dropped out...it's ok as long as I don't eat or drink anything..now where's that sarky smilie??Plus we are off camping first thing monday am,now we'll have to stay and see if they can fit me in when they open..

Aww you're all bringing tears to my eyes. To see how many of you were in dark places but are now in happy places is so touching, and to know I have been a part of some of them too - just by reading about them and feeling sympathy, empathy, anger and smileiness as appropriate.

Even though I have never met any of you, it is surprising how much we know of each other and can think about people even when we are not on line - such as seeing something and it reminding me of someone on here.

It just shows how much strength we all have deep down and although I haven't quite found my happy place yet, I am hopeful it will happen sometime, and I would love to share it with you all when it does!

    That was lovely Tenmah.
You will find your happy place - hopefully soon. Never stop believing. x
  • Tenmah, that is lovely. *hands out the tissues**
  • Its amazing what a year can do if you are prepared to take a chance.

    hmmm.

In less poetic news, I cleaned out a fish tank(can't get much less poetic then that) and I am so pleased (fish geek alert) as I have put all the fish I left together (well added four WCM minnows to the Harlequinns), they are all S.E Asian and so are the plants! will stop now cos even I know I sound sad.

However this means I have an empty tank! that I can fill up he he. Happy days! xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I'm back, not too bad, managed 4 lengths but i'm sore now, was a bit aprehensive swimming on my own incase my back went mid length, so my neighbours took it in turnsw to swim with me, ones a lifeguard and the others a personal trainer.

A bit sad though i only managed 4 lengths, i used to be a brill swimmer and never thought anything on swimming a mile :( going to be a long time before i get to that stage again i think :(

On the other hand this time last year i was training with the gold medal paraolympic champion david roberts, now i can't even swim 4 lengths :(
