Just sat outside for an hour in a jumper and read my book. Desperate to get out. Typically just as I have given up and come in for the night the flipping sun appears.

Goes off to search for 'Come Dine with me down under' and more wine.
  • Bookie, Come Dine with me Down Under was funny! Though one womans giggle started to get on my nerves after aw hile.

Oooh! I just watched it too Bookie! I have to say I quite enjoyed it - I found it much less b1tchy than the UK one...although I thought that girl Jennifer was just purposefully difficult and hard to please UNTIL it was her turn and then she realised that it's blo0dy difficult to cook a 3 course meal for 5 people!!

Oh my goodness, I have just read back through all the posts from this afternoon. Bookie, I haven't been on the boards for very long (only since May) so I didn't know your story until today. You sound like you have been through so much and I admire the way you have handled it. I hope you are back to stay on the boards - maybe we can all make a "new" crowd :o As for being taken to the pub - not sure where you are....but how about a virtual ?

Tenmah - your post was so lovely (as usual I blubbed!)

LMC - hope you're alright, whichever choice OH makes...we are here for you to vent, no matter what.

    Elfen - oh-er!! Have fun ;)

Claire - hope your back is a wee bit easier for your crafting tomorrow
