  • All he knows is Aviation and Transport, which is what he wants to do. Trouble is he's not got a degree and is used to earning mega ££'s abroad and there's nothing I can see in the UK.

I'm going to take him round recruitment agencies and things and get him registered once he's home.

Plus the saviings pot has depleated by £3k no idea where it's gone.

Is it a joint savings account, LMC?

Is it engineer-y jobs he is after then?

on hold to Hastings to talk to them about my car insurance renewal........15 minutes and counting so far......to be fair, it's only gone up around £15 but I'm going to see if they'll match last year's price. Unfortunately because of the accident in December, using comparison sites is making it more expensive (cheapest is £50 more than Hastings :( ) even though it was a no fault accident and I didn't pay the exces or lose any no claims bonus.

  • Nope not a joint one, it's all in his name. Nah not engineer type job Jo. I'm not sure what he wants to do in all honesty. I personally think he's doing the wrong thing, but hey ho such is life.

Right back to the search I go.

Got a small discount from them . 5% off for being an existing customer and if I put on Personal Accident cover at £19 they gave an extra discount of £25. Decided to stay with them as even going through Quidco I couldn't find anything with a better saving. All helps.

LMC - What's his reasoning for giving up the job? Bit strange that the savings have gone down by so much - do you think he's having a rough time of it at the moment and just needs a bit of grounding?

Jo - How long are you off to Oz for?

BB - How's the CD going? How much have you lost now?

Well I gave in and went back to bed for a few hours, didn't sleep but the rest was nice.....can't believe how sore my throat is though.....nasty. Have been eating nice icy cold grapes to help soothe it.

Seem to have bid on a few bits on ebay - so the NSD has gone out the window.

hmmmmmmmm.....bit difficult to say Pooky.......I guess about 2, maybe edging towards 3 in some styles/brands. Some stuff that I was wearing has gone from tight to fitting to drowning me, some has gone from tight to fitting and I've got about a dozen bits of clothing that went nowhere near me that now fit.

I have 2 charity bags full of clothes that are now too big!!!

I feel mentally good, don't feel much different physically to be honest, but I think that will come in time.
