    Evening all.

Well done on seeing through the year with such strength, determination and good spirits Bookie.:T

A year ago I was in the depths of PND, unemployed and unfit. Today I can barely remember what being depressed felt like, I have effectively been promoted immediately out of probation and have got the exercise mojo back good and proper. A big thank you to all of you who helped me see it through xxx:iloveyou:

After a rather sorry start, this thread has turned into a thing of beauty.
Lovely to read so many happy and positive posts.

I do read the Daily Chat every day, but often don't post.

Its been much quieter of late but I think that's partly the time of year as people are out and about, on holiday etc. Of course some folk have go jobs that actually require their full attention now so there's less whiling away the hours until home time too...

  • I feel like i have just begun to change things in my life. It has been the same for a while, but to be honest I don't think I mind really, change is coming slowly.

Its funny how a forum can change your life so much.

    Actually where is Spud?

    xx

  • I'm not sure I've made as much progress as most of you in the last year, in fact it feels like things have gone downhill. :( The one thing I can think of that has improved is my confidence driving. A year ago, I'd have never have dreamed I could cope with driving for a living (or a service job in general for that matter), let alone go to a strange town and do it like I did tonight. The store over in Yate was short-staffed so I was sent there tonight. It's lovely, so much nicer than our store and the area's so much easier to find your way around than Bath. They even offered me a transfer to there! I told them I'd think about it but tbh, lovely as it is, I don't think I could afford the commute in money or time. :(

I need to get to bed now, my mum's over this weekend and she likes to get up at the crack of dawn. No doubt she'll be ringing me first thing wanting to go out. *rolls eyes* Talk to you all soon. Nite. x

Pretty much packed for Spain, tomorrow I have to sort packing for our Cardiff/Gwent/Bristol bit of the holiday. I'm watching something on bulging brides - she eats utter rubbish. I eat well and I'm still fat - how is that fair!
