P.S As long as they have copyright to the original Wedding DVD (or have been given permission) ;)

    That's the most important fact.

I'm sure my mate who spends hours filming, then even more hours editing/adding effects, wouldn't mind at all if just anyone copied his copyright material. :(
    Move along, nothing to see.

To the OP - any burning software should offer a disc copy. IMGBurn has already been mentioned. CDBurnerXP is a free clone of Nero.

My personal favourite is: http://www.amok.am/en/freeware/amok_cd-dvd_burning/ which is portable and you can use the plugins for it to do pretty much everything. Another favourite is http://rocketdivision.com/download_starburn.html which does blurays theres a portable version aswell.

(Glad to see we're still jumping to conclusions before finding out the facts, also glad to see this time that the facts eventually came out before the OP decided to find a friendlier place to get the info.)

If you hired a professional to video your wedding, it's entirely plausable that they have retained copyright over it. Same with nearly all photography.

Far as they're concerned it is their videos/photos, you merely pay for a license to use them. Charging for duplicates etc makes up a significant amount of their revenue.

Not posting to support or criticise this practice, nor to suggest that you should/shouldn't copy the video, merely passing along an observation.
