Scanned a friends XP machine last night with above. Loads of things found. Removed the problems and now when starting windows it say cannot boot windows because msls51.dll was not found.
How do I install it? I'm getting a right ticking off from my friend now after trying to remove all the crap from his machine!

msls51.dll is contained within uxtheme.dll

acoording to another post I read
putting that on a usb drive and then booting the machine with a linux CD like ubuntu will allow you to copy that file to the correct locationEx forum ambassador

Hi Browntoa (anybody)
Made myself a Ubuntu Disk and i'm running the pc from it so thats good (at least I can take off some important documents if I need to do a full reinstall)
The file from the link in post 3 is named "uxtheme.dll" and I have copied that onto A MEMORY STICK TO BE TRANSFERRED INTO THE BROKEN pc.
When I try to copy the file over I get a prompt which says:
A file named uxtheme.dll already exists in system 32, replacing it will overwrite it, do you want to continue?
Should I accept this or does this mean that adding this file will make no difference? I dont want to go ahead (its not my PC) before checking.0 -
rename the existing file to uxtheme.old first just in caseEx forum ambassador
