Tired of FairFX top-up delays

Anything up to two hours, I find.

Anyone know a prepaid Mastercard that works at Ryanair and for which top-ups are fast, e.g. instant?

EDIT: Last one took FIVE hours - from being placed at 03:05 to email

Once loaded, funds will normally be available for use on the FairFX Currency Card within a few hours.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

What card are you using? I've used Smile and Co-op visa debits which both didn't clear payment till the next day (after midnight so I used it straight away). I've also used HSBC and LTSB Visa debits which have made the funds available in less than 10 minutes.

But he keeps applying for their cards. Maybe three so far, according to his posts.
Just the kind of customer that you don't need.

I took five hours for FairFX to send the mail saying " Your card has been reloaded and the funds will be available within a few hours.".

For this one, NatWest Platinum Mastercard.

I've used Firstdirect VISA debit and direct transfer, and still not seen anything like as fast as 10mins. It seems unlikely the type of card makes a difference. I wonder if it is down to time of day. Most of my top-ups are ordered at night.
