Why should I increase the bank balance of a faceless mass organisation when they're already doing the damage? Even if the entire of the UK were to boycott them, they still have a huge American market who generally don't even know use our products:

If you're that bothered about multinational businesses why don't you buy British?

Foords Chocolates have a good reputation on MSE.

British Cadburys definately tastes different to American & Canadian Cadburys, Each time I visit my sister in USA or my in-laws in Canada I buy some Cadburys to bring home and do 'blind tastings' with. We ALWAYS pick out the British ones... it is much creamier!

I guess if British Cadburys starts to taste like Hersheys I'll start to lose weight cos I won't be eating it!

I've never found that at all, always tastes the same to me. Sometimes you can psychosomatically believe it tastes different because you expect it too, body is easily influenced.

I have to admit I rarely buy chocolate at all. But I'll have a look.

    Thanks.

I bought a small bar of Dairy Milk last week and thought it tasted different - then bought a large bar yesterday, but that was fine.........
They had better not adjust the recipe.....what else can I get addicted to?

Maybe the bigger bar was from an older batch before they changed the recipe

we might get some of the more exotic and unusual flavours and fillings that other countries enjoy, such as the Rocky Road Dairy Milk and Black Forest Dairy Milk. I have tasted these American and New Zealand varieties, and the chocolate tastes exactly the same as Brit Dairy Milk, so I have little concern that the brand is going to suffer.

I've been waiting patiently for 10 years for the Black Forest version to come out here!! Let's hope it's not all been in vain then

Seems like no one has touched on this yet, but have you tried Cadbury chocolate in Ireland? I know for a fact that they use a different formulation there. Honestly I can't tell the difference though.

I also have it on good authority that there are no plans at present to change the formulation in the UK.
