Cadbury's - has the Kraft product dumbing down started?

Bought some Cadbury chocolate today (Whole Nut). The chocolate tasted really nasty - cheap and milk powdery - both of us noticed it separately. Bad batch or is this the first sign of the dead hand of Kraft "product engineering" for more profit, as expected? Anybody else noticed any changes?

What we have noticed is the amount of special offers there are regarding Cadburys goods. Not for us thank you.0

Oh no! That doesn't bode well I do hope you just got a bad bar (iykwim).
TBH I've not seen any Cadbury's offers, but have been inundated by the Kraft Milka special prices, nasty stuff.
I will get some to quality checkin Sains on Mon and report back.
It's only a game

I haven't noticed anything wrong with Cadbury products since Kraft bought into them.

Weird. Milka is one of the best tasting chocolates on the market.
Toblerone has been Kraft for a while and that is still lovely. They are not going to change the chocolate to American chocolate as nobody would buy it!
The bar of Cadbury's I finished during the week was fine. They are bringing out some weird combinations now.0 -
I have heard that they are going to use milk powder (aka Milka) and reduce the size of the bars
I was against the sale of a well known reputable British company I guess the share holders saw the pound signs0 -
I'm boycotting them due to their underhand tactics. Telling those people they would be able to keep their jobs, then closing the factory right after the merger. The board should be shot.

It would have been closed anyway, even without the Kraft takeover.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Nice lady she is not
What a shame it ever got sold in first place Cadburys was set up by quakers and had strong ethical and moral ethics to look after its workers0 -
