Tips please for Irish car hire, would like to hire Dublin north and return to Dublin airport

    Well, Dublin Airport is in the north of Dublin, so you could probably avoid any cheeky one way fees they might add by just renting from and returning to the airport. There are plenty of Bus Eireann, Dublin Bus and Aircoach services to the airport, so getting there won't be a hassle.

    Pay for a full tank and return empty with no refund for any fuel returned. This is fine if you are going to serious travelling. Not so much if you are using the car to get out and about around the Dublin / Wicklow area. How long are you looking to hire for?
