i'm just about to post my form back tomorrow so i'm keeping everything crossed for a £4500 limit.
got £7k on my lloyds platinum once - - was in shock :laugh:
also shocked to get a platinum card !!
thank god i didn't spend the lot

Hi. I'm on a salary of £24k. Single, homeowner (mortgage).

I normally pay off in full every month (except that I have a 0% purchases card, but I'm paying that off in full before the end date of November and am then starting again with the M&S card). Not worth me transferring the balance.

Anyway, so far I have:

Lloyds 2.5k
Virgin 4.5k
Morgan 4.3k
Halifax 2,250
M&S £6.5k!!!!! Not that I will spend anywhere near this amount!

None of the above have any outstanding balances, all paid off in full. thinking of closing some.

My Mint card has a limit of 4,150 and has £2k outstanding, to be paid off in full next week.

Just called to activate card (Limit £3500 on letter).

Also asked if I could do BT at same time. when asked what amount I said I wanted to BT as much as possible without exceeding limit with the interest added before next statement.I was then asked if I would like a Limit Increase???

Asked about annual income, whether homeowner, and put me on hold, came back with increased limit of £4500 (bingo!!!!!)

Trasferred £4400 from HSBC card at 15.9%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive just applied for m&s cc hopefully i will be accepted. From the forum it looks a good deal for bt

Try ringing this number. 0800 363459 I applied over the net about 9 days ago but I had received no email so when I phoned they did it manually right there and then. Successful! Yeah 3.9% ! Going to hopefully transfer my Egg balance.

I notice on the application you dont have to put down your employers address, phone number or length of employment.

Would this count against you?
