Thanks rog2, she has had a look at the site but she won't post, I think she's just lazy and likes me to type everything!! :rotfl:
She really is looking happier than I've seen her for a while, paying it off like that has certainly lifted a weight off her shoulders, she even enjoyed answering the telephone the day she paid it and telling capital one that £480 was winging its way through to them as they spoke!!
Thanks again!Kate

Nope - she's definitely not alone. There are so many friendly helpful DFW's on here and I'm sure if she wants to pop in at any time she'll be more than welcome. Just wanted to say make sure she gets some professional help if she's suffering from Depression. It is never worth harming yourself at the end of the day as it is only money and that she comes first as a person and I'm sure more people care about her than she realises.Making my money go further with MSE :j

I dont think its the amount of debt that worries people its more the fact that people will have to severely cut back on their lifestyles that its the worst thing.
And if people who are in a bad position to start with, then have to lose 90% of there social life then thats when the problems start.
Thats why forums like this re so useful, even if its just for support0 -
Dancingfairy thank you, she has received professional help and is currently on medication and receiving counselling! At the moment she's a happy bunny so she's not really worrying about anything, she's a strong survivor though so she'll fight this battle all the way!
Kevicho, thanks again, you make a good point!Kate
