Is there a package comparison - sky vs virgin vs BT

am currently a sky customer paying for the full package(all channels + sports/movies) + HD subscription.
I am hoping to get some reduction from sky but when i talked to them yesterday they tried to say the virgin & bt did not offer half the channels they do.
So i need to compare sky vs the others so i can make my descision.
does anything exist?

Sky have the most channels but 90% of them are utter garbage and the most of the other 10% are showing stuff that was on others in their network (Wheeler Dealers started on Discovery Realtime and is now repeated on Discovery Turbo). In fact, the channels on Freeview are pretty much the only ones with new content on a daily basis. Sky do have the most HD channels but whats the point when they're 99% repeats?
Buy a PVR and get a DVD rental from somewhere like Lovefilm.0 -
For the combined cost of a HD PVR and a LoveFilm sibscription, you may be better off with Sky +HD half price.0

Virgin doesn't have as many channels as they provide in their packages unless you take the highest level package. Thats whats putting us off moving to be honest. Because we don't want Virgin to be in charge of our telephone line too we would have to pay £29 a month.0
