Have a great time those who are off on hols
Congrats to Wee_Jo and Watalie :T
Short list for me today, as usual
Checked online banking - been paid - hooray :j
Read free paper on train to work
Scraped together the change for the cheaper car park (you can pay by card in the more expensive one, but need change for the cheaper one)
Leftovers for both lunch and supper today - nicer than it sounds though! I found a small pot of ratatouille from last year in the freezer, and had that heated up with a pitta bread for lunch at work, and made the remains of a casserole into a potato-topped pie and baked in the oven for supper for OH ans I. We had home grown mangetout and runner beans with it
Seen to animals and plants
Dried some tomatoes and put in jars of olive oil - I will need to pick more tomorrow.
Froze some french beans
Dried the washing on the line outside
Phoned Halifax to find out why I hadn't received paperwork for new bank account  They don't know where it has gone - good job I didn't opt for their switching service. I will see how quickly it gets sorted out and just close it and stay with A&L/Santander or whatever they call themselves now if they mess me about any more.
That is about it for me today!0 -

Milly - hope you have a lovely weekend in Paignton, we are going to Woodbury, which is near Exmouth. :j Fingers crossed for the weather!
Fay - I do shopandscan, which is where you have a little "clicker" like a barcode scanner, & you scan all your shopping each week then upload the data, & you get points which convert to vouchers. I've done very well with amazon, next & debenhams!!
Its www.shopandscan.co.uk - go on the FAQs & it tells you how you can register.
Have a lovely evening everyone!!

Yeh, Friday night!!! AND I was given a bottle of wine from someone at work who got it as a pressie (she doesn't drink) ... so sipping on a glass right now
Have a chilled night everyone

sipping??? I'm guzzling and considering opening another bottle! Phew what a week, so glad its over and although its really turbulent at work atm a senior manager made contact with me today to tell me he will be line managing me until a replacemnt is found for my previous manager (made redunadent on Tuesday effective immediately!), he took the time to ask me what was going on with my scheme and any risky areas. Feeling reassured now (well more than on Tues till today) so I can side into the weekend. Am determined not to spend my whole weekend doing chores!
