Our letting agents told us our rental property had been raided by police during the previous tenancy no sooner than 30 seconds after we signed the lease :-|
It took some arguing to find out what it was for, as I was concerned it may have been drug related (and I have kids so wouldn't want anyone coming by for a previous occupant). Turns out the person was actually innocent and it wasn't as serious as it sounded. Still ... I wasn't amused with the lack of transparency.0 -
If you ask a specific question then they can not lie but they are not obliged to disclose this sort of information unless asked for it.0
